About Me
My Name is Tanzania and I have been a plus size model for the last 4 years. Modeling is a great passion of mines that I take seriously and love to do. I have experience in runway, print, fashion, glamour, fit, commercial as well as freelance modeling. Aside from modeling, I love to sing, act, dance, and travel the world all which inspire the creative in me and helps me push further in my modeling career.
My Purpose
Born and raised in San Diego, California, I grew up wanting to be a part of the arts. I would consider myself to be a creative. I was involved in musical theatre, art, hair styling, etc. The one thing I remember wanting to do so badly, was model. One day my mom signed me up for a audition for a modeling agency in San Diego. We went. They told me I should consider acting instead because of my weight and because I did not have the “model look”. Four years ago my life changed when I was approached to be a plus size model on the runway. The rest is history. With hard work, punctuality, and determination I work to show that anybody can achieve their dreams no matter what ethnicity, size, gender, etc.
